The price includes
- Private minivan and 4x4 vehicles with driver (Day 2 to Day 9).

* In hotels, accommodation is in twin/double rooms with private bathrooms. In rural areas, accommodation may be in guesthouses or yurts, with shared rooms/yurts and/or shared bathroom facilities.
Not included
- Flights: We do not include flights, as departure cities and individual travel plans may vary. We always encourage travelers to extend their journey independently if they wish. However, we are happy to help you find the most convenient flight options.
- Travel Insurance: Medical insurance is mandatory. We recommend TrueTraveller, ViaggiSicuri, Columbus
- Trip Cancellation Insurance (strongly recommended): Some insurance providers, such as IATI and Europassistance, offer combined medical and cancellation coverage.
- Meals in Bishkek and Karakol: Meals in Central Asia are typically inexpensive and affordable.
- Airport Transfers: Taxis are easy to book through apps like Yango and Yandex Taxi and are generally very economical.
- Gratuities: In Central Asia, it is customary to tip guides and drivers. We suggest approximately €40 per person, to be shared between guides and drivers.

- Passport: Must be valid for at least 6 months upon entry (in some cases, 3 months validity may be accepted).
- Time Zone: Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan: GMT +6 (4 hours ahead of Italy during daylight saving time).
Itinerary Highlights
DAY 1 – BISHKEK
- Breakfast and introductory meeting with the tour leader
- Walking tour around the city with a local guide
- Afternoon (time permitting): visit to a hidden museum just outside of the city
- First tasting of local specialties
- Overnight in Bishkek
DAY 2 – INTO THE NARYN HIGHLANDS
- Early departure to Kyrgyzstan’s eastern highlands and the beautiful Naryn region
- Scenic stops on the road (coffee, snacks and photo breaks)
- Arrival in a remote mountain pasture where Kyrgyz families live all year around, settling in the yurt camp with stunning views and a river flowing nearby
- Acclimatisation and sunset walk
- Overnight in a family-run yurt camp
DAY 3 – KEL-SUU ADVENTURE
- Breakfast at the yurt camp
- Horse ride or hike to the spectacular high-altitude (3,514m) Kel-Suu lake (easy–moderate hike, ~500 m ascent max.), one of the most beautiful lakes in the whole Central Asia.
- Picnic in nature with camp-provided food and lake views
- Optional hike/ride extension for a different viewpoint around the lake.
- Return to the yurt camp, kumys (mare’s milk) tasting, dinner
- Overnight in yurts
DAY 4 – ANCIENT TRADITIONS AND LOCAL LIFE
- Drive from the high pastures to the regional centre, Naryn.
- Visit to a traditional saddle maker and hands-on workshop with a local master.
- Stroll through the tranquil town of Naryn: local life, markets, everyday Kyrgyz streets
- Overnight in a hotel in Naryn
DAY 5 – ISSYK-KUL
- Transfer to the northern shores of Issyk-Kul, the second-largest alpine lake in the world.
- Stop in a lakeside harbour town en route
- Check-in at a local guesthouse in the village of Cholpon-Ata
- First taste of the World Nomad Games and familiarisation with the nomadic games.
- Overnight at a guesthouse in Cholpon-Ata.
DAY 6 – WORLD NOMAD GAMES
- Full day at the World Nomad Games: traditional sports, competitions, and festival atmosphere. Be open to meet locals, ask questions and put yourself out there! ;)
- Walk at the beach and swim in the Issyk-Kul Lake with mountain views
- Evening concerts and entertainment around the bonfires
- Overnight at the guesthouse in Cholpon-Ata
DAY 7 – SOUTHERN SHORE
- Breakfast and van drive to the southern shore of the Issyk-Kul
- Meet eagle hunters and learn about this old tradition
- Afternoon visit and hike to the Fairytale Canyon, surrounded by stunning rock formations of thousands different shapes.
- Check-in at a classic Soviet-era sanatorium, possibility of spa treatments, swim in the pools and relax around the immense gardens
- Overnight in the sanatorium
DAY 8 – MOUNTAIN VALLEYS
- A day of landscapes and stories and into the valleys around the lake
- Hike in a gorgeous valley with rivers flowing from glaciers, visit monuments dedicated to Yuriy Gagarin, the first cosmonaut to orbit the Earth.
- Stop at stunning red-rock formations and picnic with a view
- Traditional home-cooked dinner with a local family
- Overnight in a guesthouse in Karakol
DAY 9 – KARAKOL
- Walking tour of Karakol: pre-Soviet wooden architecture, local history, street life
- Lunch at the local bazaar with some unexpected food
- Drive back to Bishkek and some stunning window panoramas, short breaks included
- Dinner in the capital
- Overnight in Bishkek
DAY 10 – BISHKEK
- Further urban explorations and guided walking tours in the city
- Free time for cafés, souvenir shopping or relaxing activities
- Farewell dinner
